Song Spell #6, Los Bitchos - Tripping party

 Tripping party

Level: Intermediate

Appearance: The caster chooses the members of the tripping party, and an aura emanates from them, and creates a plethora of lurid colors that bathe the room in flashing lights. Where the aura touches, the surfaces parallax and shift, and strange echoing music can be heard that has no recognizable structure to it. 

Effect: The aura onlookers are unable to perceive depth, or the original makeup of the room or any objects in it. They must also make a willpower roll, as they may have nightmarish hallucinations. The willpower roll can also help to break anyone out of the spells effect. The tripping party must comprise of at least 3 members, otherwise the spell will not function at all. The caster must also declare the party members and prepare the spell, which will take up their turn. The spell does not cease immediately, but rather fades away, but the harsh effect on victims clears far quicker than the music and lights. 

Duration: 1 round

Range: Radius of about 30 feet, which increases in increments of 10 the more party members join the tripping party

Type: Illusion

This was another YouTube recommendation, and after seeing it in there for months I clicked it. It wasn’t this song in particular, but a performance of songs with this song in it, and this band absolutely rocked it. It was also a more formal introduction to cumbia, which I hadn’t really sought out to listen to. Cumbia is great, and I highly recommend this song.

Song Spell #49 Studio Jams #1 - I Wish

 I wish Level: Legendary Appearance: The caster will tentatively state a desire of their own and it will appear before the caster.  Effect: The caster may make a wish, as long as it doesn’t physically change the caster themselves in terms of physiology and appearance. Before the caster makes said wish by enacting the spell, they will be transported into an extraordinary dimension where they must vouch for their wish. Time dilates heavily in this dimension, taking 10 minutes in reality while taking days in the dimension. Inside this dimension you must speak to a tribunal of judges who will ask what the caster requests and the caster must state their case. If you flounder or don’t make your intentions clear, proceedings can take years to conduct, which will begin to wear on your psyche, causing you to mentally age when you leave this strange place. Song Spell #48 The Physics House Band - Teratology

 Teratology Level: Advanced Appearance: The caster will point at any target and the target will ripple and tesselate while being pointed at by the caster.  Effect: Teratology determines any sort of defect that the target has, explaining it in simple terms. The spell will psionically relay details of the defect to the caster, spontaneously making the caster aware of potential conditions and how to work around them. The spell  how the defect affects a certain action or aspect of the target rather than simply naming the condition. Duration: Depending on the condition, it takes at most around 30 seconds to explain the condition.  Range: Must be facing the person at most 5 feet away.  Type: Evocation This is such an amazing song. All of the members donate a ferocious musicality to their parts. Wonderful progressive rock happening here with the physics house band.
