Song spell #11 I am this - Sea of something
Sea of something
Level: Advanced
Appearance: The caster
reaches into a deep azure hole through reality into the sea of something. The
dark blue waters that splash out of the hole seem to float away like a vapor,
and the sea spray always has a different odor but always the same salinity. Many
things can be heard in the sea, but very little things can be seen due to the
darkness of the water. When the sea of something goes away the open falls like
a droplet while rapidly reducing in size until its gone.
Effect: The debris
of the sea of something always bears significance to what the caster needs at
that current moment, and when it is cast, an object can be recovered from the
sea. There are repeated objects that cover a great deal of bases for the casters
needs, such as a barnacle laden dagger that has a keen cutting edge, a gnarled
shell filled with a briny broth that staves off poisons and afflictions, and
old bits of strange abstract vessels that seemingly have broken down in the sea
of something. Aside from the two artifacts most commonly recovered, the caster
may state their dismay into the sea, and it will improvise something for that
need. There are two dreadful dangers when using the sea of something. Those who
have not practiced it well can fumble and miscast the sea of something and
conjure an expanding hole to the sea that is eager for people to visit its
abyssal depths, however passage into it will only yield seemingly infinite
depths with undead sea creatures and floating debris that serve no purpose to
survival. The other dreadful danger of this spell is the folly of wanting
something from the sea of something. If you state a want and not a need, the
debris that finds its way to you will backfire on you, whether the caster wants
wealth or power. Many survive this affliction but are left cursed by the depths
of the sea of something. The curses never deviate from the inability to speak,
bloating of skin and bulging of eyes, and being unable to drink anything other
than seawater. The GM is the decider of whether the player needs what they ask,
as well as what is granted from the sea.

something takes up a turn in combat

This song bears such an
excellent name and features and excellent sound. I need to see what else I am
this has made. Such a nice track to listen to passively.
