Song Spell #19 Budos Band - Budos Rising

 Budos Rising

Level: Advanced

Appearance: The caster will evoke the power of Budos, an ancient and renowned magus. Budos will then conjure himself from elsewhere. Budos is suited in golden armor covered in gleaming symbols. He has extremely dry and leathery skin that makes him look like a corpse. His beard acts as a twine that pieces the armor together on his body. Budos speaks with three voices, which were the slain combatants that Budos chose to add on to his already booming voice. Budos wields a magical scimitar that bears three machines on it which are a revolving blade, a pendulum medallion hanging from the pommel, and a pearlescent gyroscopic ball in the hilt. Budos when dispelled creates a blast of stifling air and leaves behind extremely pure sands in his wake. When Budos blocks things he does it magically as well, with his arms coming out of nowhere to block strikes and fading away like a ghost. He also can become ethereal and intangible to rematerialize and strike an opponent attempting to strike the caster. 

Effect: Budos was known as the protector, and as a result his purpose is to deflect blows directed at the caster that summoned him. Budos blocks any ranged and bladed weapon attacks but refuses to block only maul weapons as he respects the attacker’s bravery. The pearl eye in his sword can find water, the pendulum can block magic, and the revolving blade can project gleaming yellow beams that bathe the room in magical light. Budos is full of wisdom and has many tales about the tombs that he scoured of evil and the undead. 

Duration: Lasts 10 minutes, any attempt to sustain past must be met with a successful spellcasting roll. 

Range: Summoning range, Budos will be about your person like a suit of armor. 

Type: Evocation

This song is one of those songs that you would want to blast in a car, regardless of if you are annoying someone or not. I find myself never skipping this song.

Song Spell #49 Studio Jams #1 - I Wish

 I wish Level: Legendary Appearance: The caster will tentatively state a desire of their own and it will appear before the caster.  Effect: The caster may make a wish, as long as it doesn’t physically change the caster themselves in terms of physiology and appearance. Before the caster makes said wish by enacting the spell, they will be transported into an extraordinary dimension where they must vouch for their wish. Time dilates heavily in this dimension, taking 10 minutes in reality while taking days in the dimension. Inside this dimension you must speak to a tribunal of judges who will ask what the caster requests and the caster must state their case. If you flounder or don’t make your intentions clear, proceedings can take years to conduct, which will begin to wear on your psyche, causing you to mentally age when you leave this strange place. Be careful with the tribunal when you want your wish to affect someone of your choice. They will summarize that person’s entire life...

Song Spell #48 The Physics House Band - Teratology

 Teratology Level: Advanced Appearance: The caster will point at any target and the target will ripple and tesselate while being pointed at by the caster.  Effect: Teratology determines any sort of defect that the target has, explaining it in simple terms. The spell will psionically relay details of the defect to the caster, spontaneously making the caster aware of potential conditions and how to work around them. The spell  how the defect affects a certain action or aspect of the target rather than simply naming the condition. Duration: Depending on the condition, it takes at most around 30 seconds to explain the condition.  Range: Must be facing the person at most 5 feet away.  Type: Evocation This is such an amazing song. All of the members donate a ferocious musicality to their parts. Wonderful progressive rock happening here with the physics house band.
