Song Spell #36 Beastie Boys - Sure Shot

 Sure Shot


Level: Intermediate

Appearance: The caster will gain a glowing effect on anything they are about to use to propel something whether it’s their hand or a bow. 

Effect: Sure, shot allows the caster to conjure 100% accuracy when trying to hit something far away. Regardless of what threw the object, under Sure shots effect it will hit without fail. Astute alchemists will sometimes siphon the otherworldly power of sure shot from the projectile. It is a thin window of opportunity but an object with infinite momentum can be dangerous and lucrative. This spell must be used sparsely otherwise sure shot will not function.

Duration: Lasts until the object affected by sure shot is thrown or shot. 

Range: Line of sight

Type: Evocation and transfiguration

Sure shot was a favorite of mine because the beat had such tight composition. The flute and drum loop play off of each other excellently.

Song Spell #49 Studio Jams #1 - I Wish

 I wish Level: Legendary Appearance: The caster will tentatively state a desire of their own and it will appear before the caster.  Effect: The caster may make a wish, as long as it doesn’t physically change the caster themselves in terms of physiology and appearance. Before the caster makes said wish by enacting the spell, they will be transported into an extraordinary dimension where they must vouch for their wish. Time dilates heavily in this dimension, taking 10 minutes in reality while taking days in the dimension. Inside this dimension you must speak to a tribunal of judges who will ask what the caster requests and the caster must state their case. If you flounder or don’t make your intentions clear, proceedings can take years to conduct, which will begin to wear on your psyche, causing you to mentally age when you leave this strange place. Be careful with the tribunal when you want your wish to affect someone of your choice. They will summarize that person’s entire life...

Song Spell #48 The Physics House Band - Teratology

 Teratology Level: Advanced Appearance: The caster will point at any target and the target will ripple and tesselate while being pointed at by the caster.  Effect: Teratology determines any sort of defect that the target has, explaining it in simple terms. The spell will psionically relay details of the defect to the caster, spontaneously making the caster aware of potential conditions and how to work around them. The spell  how the defect affects a certain action or aspect of the target rather than simply naming the condition. Duration: Depending on the condition, it takes at most around 30 seconds to explain the condition.  Range: Must be facing the person at most 5 feet away.  Type: Evocation This is such an amazing song. All of the members donate a ferocious musicality to their parts. Wonderful progressive rock happening here with the physics house band.
