Song Spell #8, Heart - Barracuda
Barracuda
Level: Intermediate
Appearance: The caster
will conjure a large Mirer (Will be expanded upon in a later blog) demigod
named Barracuda. He will come out of the floor like surfacing from a pool of
water. Barracuda has a series of iridescent colors in his scales and there is a
faint light inside of his mouth. His arm is marked with a bright magenta but
this seems to be only tattoos. Barracuda when dispelled will sink into the
ground once again, either if they took a certain amount of damage, or the
caster undid the spell.
Effect: Barracuda will
attack 1person of the caster’s choice. Barracuda can bite through steel and
cement with ease and can lunge after people as if the Barracuda was underwater.
Barracuda is an ancient demigod, so he won’t communicate with any sort of
recognizable language or listen to anyone speaking to him. The only thing he
understands is the caster pointing at a target for him to attack. After dealing
significant damage to the single target for Barracudas turn, Barracuda
leaves.
Duration: The Barracuda
when summoned has one attack turn, then they will go away. This includes
surprise attacks as well.
Range: Summoning
spell so the caster must be able to see where they are going to cast Barracuda.
Type: Evocation
This song is a crucial piece of rock music in my eyes. The instrumental and the vocals are excellent and create a chugging effect like some sort of fearsome locomotive. I adore the title Barracuda. It makes for such an awesome name for the song.
(Update) - I plan to expand upon the dungeon with a greater frequency of blog posts outside the song spell project, Im sure the term Mirer means I have some explaining to do.)
